Reminiscing on the perfect moments that make up my life.

last year on this date i was being treated like family by my favorite band. i know a lot of people think im insane for loving bands as much as i do but how could i not love something that gives me love in return. i’ve been a Good Charlotte fan since i was 12 years old. and every time i see them no matter where it is, they remember that. i’ve had the most amazing fan moments with these guys, some i still cant believe happened. from pictures after a show, to hanging out at the mall even simple waves, highfives and hugs. i dont mean this to sound like im bragging i just love reliving these moments. last year after giving it my all at trying to win tickets to an acoustic private show i simply asked Benji if i could come and he said yes! trust me when i say i still wonder why he let me come. was it because he remembers me? is he just that nice (yes)? did he just happen to be looking at twitter at the right time? i dont know, i just dont know. but it happened. i got to talk to them after and before i even got out “you guys probably dont remember me…” Joel was already saying “HEY, its been a while.” and Benji mid hug “Im glad you could make it” then later when everyone was gone having them introduce me to their manager like “she use to come see us when she was just a baby, so long ago.” its things like this that makes GC my favorite band. when their self titled album came out Benji wrote in it “keep representing GC. Cause you know we’re representing you” and as a Good Charlotte fan i find this to be the truest quote. as long as im giving love to this band i know that they will always give it in return. my “relationship” with them is proof. these pictures were taken on September 24th & 25th of last year.

This band has done so much for me it’s unbelievable. They are by far the nicest people I have ever met which only adds to the reason why I love them so much. I could sit here and share my favorite memories that involve this band but what it comes down to is that Good Charlotte is and always will be my favorite band. Since the first time I saw them in a small sweaty club at 13 years old I knew that that day would always mean something to me. 15 years ago today Good Charlotte started their band, with out them I would not be the person I am today. Here’s to 15 more years. GCFAM until the day I die.
